1. Know that plants have and need healthy roots, leaves, stems and
flowers to grow well and explain through observations that their growth is
affected by temperature, light and water, which is taken in through the roots.
2. Sort living things into groups, using simple features and describe
rationale differences between living and non-living using knowledge of life
processes.
3. Collect evidence and measure it by using simple equipment and record
observations to answer questions or test ideas in a variety of ways.
4. Know life processes common to humans and animals include nutrition
(water and food), movement, growth and reproduction
5. Suggest ideas, make predictions and communicate these.
6. Demonstrates responsibility related to the following items:
punctuality, coming to class on time, readiness for class, care of personal
materials as well as school materials, bringing necessary materials to class at
all times, proper organization and presentation of work, respect towards the
teacher and classmates, dedication to excellence, recognition of the importance
of dialogue and a sense of solidarity.
